Lauren DeMeo

A graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Lauren has worked with over 150 students from all over Asia as an admissions consultant in Singapore and South Korea for the past seven years. Her commitment to connecting with students and understanding the nuances of the admissions landscape through active IECA and IACAC membership helps her students achieve exceptional essays and application outcomes. From troubleshooting unusual situations, to identifying the right extracurriculars, to fine-tuning a student’s application strategy, Lauren brings an exceptional breadth of understanding to the admissions process.

Karen Choi

Karen has over 15 years of professional experience across all levels of education, supporting students as a teacher and academic advisor, as well as in international development through her role as Head of Education at Save the Children. Karen has had experience as an admissions consultant helping students enroll into some of the most prestigious private boarding schools in the US, demonstrating her commitment as an to provide holistic support for students as they achieve success in their college application journey. With a keen editor’s eye and a counselor’s listening ear, Karen works closely with each student to develop compelling and effective essays as unique as they are.

Brian Kim

With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, Brian has worked with exceptional middle and high school students at The Princeton Review Korea. He has also worked closely with university students as a teaching assistant at UCLA and Seoul National University. Brian was previously Copy Editor for the academic Journal of Asian Sociology and is currently completing his Ph.D in Sociology at Seoul National University. His years of experience preparing students for the SAT has given him unique insight into the challenges they face applying to universities. Brian values building a strong rapport with all of his students and excels at extracting their unique stories and incorporating them into their essays.
